From initial adversity you have exhibited determina- tion. grovdh ofindividual and class personalities. strengths. talents and leadership which initiated a new era ofconstructive activity and exten- sion into the community with involvement long missing on medical school campuses. You have officially represented the College of Physicians and Surgeons at the American Medical Student Association, the New York County Medical Society. the Medical Society of the State of New York. the American Medical Association. the Student National Medical Asso- ciation, the National Association of Minority Medical Educators. the American Medical Women's Association, the Association of American Medical Colleges, and the National Institutes of Health.
