N Professor Lucy, during her years at Columbia University College of Pharmacy, has constantly worked for the betterment of our school and its students. She is the pro- fessor of microbiology, and a member of Rho Chi, the pharmaceutical honor society. In addition Dr. Clausen is faculty advisor to the Anodyne, and the Apothekan. We on the Apothekan staff especially appreciate her fine work in making this publication possible. Perhaps the most important of Dr. Clausen s varied activities has been her willingness to assist each of us in overcoming the many problems — both academic and social — that we have faced during our four years. Because she has inspired us and guided us, we, the class of 1962. dedicate this yearbook to Dr. Lucy W. Clausen.
