The greatest tribute that can ever be paid Pharmacy lies in its own history. The heritage which is now ours, having been zealously guarded from quackery and char- latanism since the earliest days of civiliza- tion, is a treasure which few other pro- fessions possess. It is with this knowledge and under- standing that we assume as a right our justifiably strong feeling of pride in our profession. May we ever cherish the Apothekan, 1933 and its record of the time spent at the Columbia University College of Phar- macy, the institution where our knowledge of Pharmacy and the great names connected with it was instilled into us. ft w) I -t
