Horticulture This year ' s horticulture classes did everything from planting seeds to landscaping miniature model homes. Under the direction of Mr. Dave Lambert, Vancouver School District ' s Teacher of the Year, students learned to identify plants as well as grow and take care of them. The first-and second-year students together held two plant sales in the main hall to pay for transportation to and from many horticulture contests including the state contest, at which the team received second, third, and fourth place banners. This year ' s big horticulture project was building a brick Senior Sidewalk between the library and the 400 wing.
