x THE CLASS OF 1932 OUR LIFE A place in life is ours to fill, Each senior that is entering Into the world. It may not be a silken place With downy covers edged in lace-our destiny in life, But if dark night our path adorns And Happiness our highway scorns, Yet that path leads to brighter morn Than earth's, who dares complain? When grief and sorrow shade our way. Like storm-clouds swiftly gathering Before the sun, then we say, 'Tis but a trial, Myself to this I'll reconcile-Thy will be done. And if true happiness we find A We'1l not to other's griefs be blind, TFor someone has to us been kind Somewhere+-we'1l pass it on. Then when triumphant we have reached That goal we set in starting out, And can look back, among those hours of yesterday And find those who are proud to say, He was my friend, Then at the sinking of our sun When that tomorrow has begun If we can read those words, Well done! Mac, a four letter man in football and captain of the team, is considered 'the best football player we turned ou-t -of Columbia High. Hick , during his four years at Co- lumbia High, has participated in almost every extra-curricular activity possible. I-Ie has also done outstanding work in the Crimson and Gold. Cleon has won first prize in the Book Week Contest for the last two years. He also won Crimson and Gold awards for four years.
