On September 1, we accepted our challenge to a new school year. At once most of us recognized the fact that the tasks which lay before us would not be easy. We knew, from previous years, that we must work and work hard. For some the chal- lenge was a mere game. They had no thoughts or plans for the oncoming year. They would drift along, and it was up to the inquisitive to bear the load, But there was one fa ct that all of us recognized: This year would be nothing more or less than what we made of it.
