Class Prophecy It is Monday night, the second of May, and the moon is not yet in sight. A blue and ghostly light swims through my open window, and I hear a hair-raising sound of clanking chains and rustling garments. With chattering teeth, I gasp, What? A hollow voice replies, I am the Future. Stammeringly I inquire, Oh, Spirit of the Future, turn the time of life and tell me where and what the Seniors of Columbia High School are doing in 1983. In a weird voice, the spirit began accounting my classmates' lives in 1983. KATIE BASNIGHT is the private marriage consultant of Liz Taylor. Katie is well experienced in this business, for she, herself, has been married four times. The-'Globe mectterakc us match forthe famous STANLEY BRICKHOUSE. Stanley is so good he plays a one-man team. My! My! SHIRLEY COReON happily married. She has three children named Eni, Mennie, and Miny. Her husband is patiently waiting in the hospital lobby for little Mo! FREDDY SWAIN, is the private airplane pilot of Caroline Kennedy. He has become so rich that he has decidedto open his own airline business. MARY BETH SWAIN, having worked in movies earlier in life, has become a successful producer in Germany. She wants to come home, but her work is in such a demand that she feels she must stay. Webster's Dictionary has gone out of style since the new edition, 'White,' has come out. Yes, JOHN WHITE, with his wide vocabulary, has derived over a thousand new words since 1963. And, Dale, with your teaching school and taking care of your little ones, your life is complete. But do not be frightened. This is all twenty years from now.
