R Treas. ------ Barbara Day Reporter -------- Patty Holbrook Advisor -------------- Mr. Epker When School opened last fall there were twenty-five students enrolled in the freshmen class. we are very sorry to say that Lillian Flett and Marion Dennison dropped out early in the first semester. . On September 22 we were initiated as members of Columbia Union High School student body. The night of initiation we dressed in unheard of costumes that nobody but the jdbbering sophomores could have dreamed of. 'We were served refresh- ment, and everyone had a grand time. The freshmen class took an active part in the magazine con- test. We came out on the losing side, but our magazine sales totaled more-than the other classes with Ina Brigman, who had the highest nu ber of sales. We put 327.08 of that amount in the class treasury. Patty Holbrook and Albert Anderson were elected candidates for the King and Queen contest Patty was for the carnival. chosen Queen. We helped our honorable upper classmen arrange the booths for the carnival. On May 15 we gave the sopho- mores a return party. , ia 2 L 'Qr'-135 , ., f W I 4
