On October 27, Helen Floyd came from Springdale to join us. Howard Etue decided he would try another year with us, and Jim Carlson came from Bothel, Vhshington, bringing the total to 21. Jessie Dennison thought that married life was best, so she left the class and began to make her home at Creston with Buddy Spencer. The class began to work very hard on the junior play the last two weeks of November. The play was to be given December 12, but was postponed indefinitely be- cause of a traffic accident, envolving two members of the cast. - -, A Robert Hall left the class at the end of the first semester. The Junior Prom was a big success. It was given in the gymnasuim which was beautifully decorated. The theme song was HNemoriesn, and the orchestra, which was veryigood, was the ufbstern Swingstersn from Davenport, Washington. The prom was given in honor of the seniors. Springtime soon came, and we started decorating the church with beautiful flowers to pro- vide a proper setting for bac- calaureate services which were held on Yay 23. Then on may 25, came the great day to prepare for senior graduation. ft decorated the stage with vases of flowers. The girls corsages were of blue and white carnations, and the boys' had matching buttonaires. vb all hope to be dignified seniors next year.

H. S.f were again filled with noise and laughter from sixteen happy sophomores. October 7, June Lance entered our class making a total enrolb ment of 17. She dropped out at the end of the first semester. Margaret Kennedy joined us January 7, to finish her term here. She had been attending school in Sprague. we sponsored freshmen initia- tion on the evening of September 22. All the freshmen were very good sports and dressed properly Some of our outstanding char- acters were, Tommy Dewitt who was dressed as a little Nbathing beautyn, Patty Holbrook and several others. Following the nfrosh stuntsu everyone enjoyed dancing and refreshments. I Our class sold candy and pop at two games, getting a total profit of about 512. te took an active part-in the magazine contest and came out on thetmdnninggside. 204B dollars was added to our bank account from this sourcel . The entire class helped with preparations for the carnival, November 14. A dance, sponsored by our class, was given at the Stranger Creek Grange hall on March 13. It was really a big success!! we would like to take this opportunity to thank our ad- visor, Mrs. Epker, for all her assistance and super- vision thrcugh the entire term.
