we the senior class of 1948 of Columbia High School wish to bestow upon those whom we are leaving behind, the qualities which we find we have an abun- dance of and have not completely exhausted. We hope that they will find as much use for them in the future as we have in the past. To the 'student body we wish to leave our ambitious ways of doing what we set out to do, and our winning ways with the teachers. . To Mr. Davis, our coach and adviser, we wish to leave a star basketball team that will bring him fame and fortune. we also want to wish' him and his wife loads of luck' and happiness in their married life. ' To' Mr. Arisman we leave a chorus class that can hold a note and stay on the right key. we would like to bestow upon him a class that has a gift for figures. fgeometryj To Mrs. Epker we wish to leave a better, brighter, more ambitious journalism class with the ability to get the papers out on time. Also a chorus class that is bent on singing instead of gossiping between SOI'lgS c To our superintendent, Mn Epker, we leave a more studious group of pupils who live to obey laws and follow rules. To the Junior Class we leave the honor of sitting in our old battleseared seats by the win- dows. Also ability and good luck in giving their play on time next year. To the Sophomore Class we leave the ability to make gains instead of.losses on their acti- vities. we also wish to bestow upon them the luck we had in giving their Junior Play when they become Juniors. To the Freshman Class we leave all the knowledge that they can cram into their poor little heads. we also wish them all the luck they will need to graduate in four years. Carol Newbill wills her ever- lasting power to go with anyone she wishes, to Donna Hill and her tantalizing ways to Alfred Brisbois in hopes that he won't overwork them. .
