The year began very successfully with every class working for a prosperous term. The annual magazine contest was held in November as it has been in previous years. Very little enthusiasm was shown and as a result none of the classes netted very much money. Carol Newbill acted as business mana- ger, and Neil Buchannan was high point salesman. ---------Opal Lawrence ----------Ray Anderson -------------Hel Davis -----Patricia Holbrook -----Betty Decker A carnival was sponsored by the entire student body for their benefit on November 14, and it proved to be a huge success. E Thanksgiving and Christmas vacations were enjoyed by both the faculty and the students. A benefit dence was given at the Stranger Creek Grange Hall for the benefit of the student body. The netted a- mount was a great help in.paying for 'our new sports equipment.
