I LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF SENIOR CLASS OF 1951 I, Leonard Adams, do hereby will my ability to collect money for Mrs. Hiers to any thief. I, Ralph Albritton, being of unsound body and no mind will my crooked arm to Hubert Combs. I, Billy Attaway, being of unsound mind, leave my ability to be head football manager to Robert Byrd. I, Esther Bailey, do hereby will and bequeath my ability to shut up once in a while and listen for a change to Joanna Adicks and my ability to finish school to Earl Coleman. I, Ann Barker, do will and bequeath my ability to become president of the student body, although Mr. Fay says I am just an ignorant female, to Barbara Stewart. I, Carolyn Bearden, do will my height to Betty Tollison, and also will my dignity to Sissy Ives, who I’m sure can use it. I, D. H. Bevan, being of sound mind and body do h ereby will and bequeath my manly Fis-E-Q to Bert Herlong. I, Maymie Lou Bradshaw, being of strong body and the opposite kind of mind, do hereby will and bequeath my nickname Dummy” to Jo Ann Howard and my ability to overcome the tomboy stage to Sylvelin Tollison. I, Sam Bradshaw, being of a mind not so sound, will my ability to own an automobile or jalopy in high school to Lamar Ellis. I, Billy Brannen, being of sound mind and body will my dignity to Wayne Stienburg. I, Frank Brannon, will my ability to get along with Miss Hutcherson to Laveme Brannon. I, Mary Louise Brown, hereby will and bequeath my ability to get in on the end of everything to June Hammons and my usual name to anyone who may enter C. H. S. with an unusual one. I, Verdie Inman Buie, (better known as “Ducky”) do hereby will and bequeath my cheerleader ability to that vivacious Katherine Jacobs, to do with as she sees fit. I, Betty Jo Bush, being of sound mind and large body will my nickname ‘Tubby” and my fatness to Betty Tollison, provided that she will not try to reduce. I, Marjorie Ann Carter, being of sound body and unsound mind, do hereby will and bequeath my “quick smile” to Mr. Byron P. Hileman. I, Gloria Catledge, being of sound body do will and bequeath my ability to get a date with a particular boy before Libby Morgan does, to the girl who can beat her to it; and my never forgotten bangs to Annette McCray. I, Doris Catledge, being of sound mind and unsound body do hereby will and bequeath my ability to graduate to Laura June Mershon and Betty June Pearce. I, John Chasteen, will my ability to stay in detention hall half the time to Russell Hancock. I, A1 Christianson, will my ability to hunt deer in safety to Donald Hall, who I think needs it very much; and my ability to hunt dear to Charles Okerstrom. Me, Jack Cole, does hereby will and bequeath my pleasing” temper to Mr. Armstrong and my pretty blue eyes to Sharron Higgs. I, Newbem Colley, being of soft mind and sound body hereby will my good looks and curly hair to Donald Smiley” Higgs and my slim figure to Mr. Hileman. I, Rachel Colson, being of good intentions and no mind at all will my ability to stay out of detention hall to Joanne Robinson. I, Loretta Commander, do hereby will my “sweet ’nsugary sarcasm” to Barbara Stewart, who is the most agreeable person I know—that is, provided she throws it away as soon as she’s tempted to use it. I, Eleanor Cotten, being of questionable mind and sound body do hereby will my tide, “My Friend, Irma,” to Nancy Hunter, whom I feel is dumb enough to have earned it I, Billy Cox, hereby will my Oop shaped legs to “Pee Wee” Bums, so in years to come he will have more power ot run the quarterback sneak. I, Geneva Cox, hereby will my ability to go steady to Jo Ann Howard, and my shortness I leave to my sister, Polly Ann. I, Grady Crew, being of sound mind will my ability to get along with teachers to I larry Lee Crews. I, Lenvil Crews, being of sound mind, not to mention tbe body, do hereby will and bequeath my delicate waistline to Ralph Tyre, who would, no doubt, like to have it. I, Emma Lou Darly, will my ability not to get mad so easy to Nancy Chasteen, who really needs it. I, Albert Davis (Dead Ernest No. 2) being of sound mind and unsound body do hereby will and be- queath my straight forefinger to Mr. Ted “Terrible” Tucker and my “wings” to Harold “Shoes” Taylor, so he can lift his tiny feet, size 12, off the ground, except when pitching. I, Glenadene Davis, just being, do hereby will and bequeath my title Biggest Flirt to June Hammons, and my natural blonde hair to Sissy Ives. I, Galena Dicks, hereby will my ability to be friendly and get along with others, to Nancy Chasteen. I, Rodney Dicks, being of unsound mind and body too, hereby, will my brains in typing and ability to tvpe 13 words a minute with 13 errors to Earl Brown.
