Financially and hil- lariously the evening was a decided success. The rather im- Y promptu program was well-given and provoked a creat deal of laughter. The numbers were as follows: ' Dance of the Lilliputs- ----- eLois Mattice, Dorothy Romm c Bert Williams, Roy McCart ' Medley of Songs ------------- up ------------- Mixed Chorus Reading--Dime Store Delia ----------- 4 ------ Betty Dowell Tap Dance--Military Revue ---------- ----- Barbara Willard l Norma Anderson Skit ---- The Nonsense School-- --------- ---Robert Erdmann Group Songs Bobby Willard Kenneth Belles Donald Mills Skit--Eb and Zeb Conserving on Coal ------- Percy Erdmann - Floyd Wright The final skit was cleverly dramatized by the two boys and was worked out in order to bring in the wool comforter which had been made by the Girls' Federation. The raffle followed with winning the comforter. Second won by Mrs. Curtis Elshire Jr dressed-Chicken, by Mrs, K. Ro prize, a live-chicken, Mrs. A. Ed Zahm made an excellent Mrs. Earl Burdett of Wallula prize, a sack of flour, was from Burbankg third prize, a e from Burbankg and fourth M. Johnson of Wallula. auetioncer for the pie soc- ial. The highest price paid for one pie was 36.50 but was purchased by four boys. The highest individual bid was 34.50 four Students Body President did the biddinge--we won- der whose pie it wasll The total proceeds for the Benefit were Ql39.25. There were three members of our Student Body who put ferthian'oute standing effort toward selling tickets and deserve special recognition. They are Jack Cyr, Charles Uhling, and T Vern Prewitt. Others also sold tickets and the Columbia High Stu dent Body wishes to express its appreciation to all the peo- ple who so adequately cooperated with us and made our pro- gram an outstanding success.
