Ludwig, the coach, as the first adviser. Charter members were the boys who had earned lst-string or 2nd-string let- ters at Columbia,or had lst-string letters awarded at anoth- er school prior to coming to this school The purpose of organizing was to give recognition to the boys who had earned letters, to discipline the boys of Columbia High, and to award the letters for Athletic achiev- ement. A All boys who receive lst-string letters shall be admit- ted to thc club, and those with 2nd-string letters will be considered Ugreen-handsn until they have earned a lst-string letter. All ngreen-handsu are elligible 'for membership in the organization. All mcmber's, other than charter members, are initiatedg l Social activities of the group this year included a mba er given after the Waitsburg-Columbia Hi basketball game at which everyone had a grand time. The Lettermen's Club also sponsored the Quilt-Raffle and Pie Social in order to boost the Associated Students' treasury.
