They have been prominent in school functions, and nafe made notable probress in their school activities.. scjirwcre act- ivities started last fall when they had the pleasure of in - itiating the Freshman Class in an exceedingly iniormal E326 of initiation. A very successful party was held at the vld Casey school later in the year. In sports the class has been placed nigh, 'with all the Sophomore boys participating in all the sports activities. Donald Mills and Bobby Willard received first string letters in both basketball and football Eddie Jonnson also receive 0 a first string letter in Football, and Robert Hrdmann basketball. Charles Unling and Cleon Campbell rccciv string letters on the basketball team. 2 Although our class is one of the smallest the students have participated in all activities. our members, Alice Goldade, Robert Lrdmann, and C ling, are in the Honor Society. Two members ar of the Girls? Federaticng also three members a Pep Squad, one is an officer in the Lcttcrman's a menfs Club. R, ,Burton The Freshman Class activities started off this year with an initiation which was dealt out by,the wily Sophomore Class. A great deal of laughter was provoked by the boys and girls in our class as they appeared at school in turned about clothes, no bobby-pins, rocks in the boys' trouser pockets, and every Frosh admitting he was Na Daisy.H The boys were very active -in sports during this year having had players in football, basketball, and softball. Several of our players earned first and second string'let- ters and soon hope to be wearing them on their sweaters. The Freshmen Class successfully handled the selling of pop and candy at basketball games and added quite a sum of money to the class treasury. E A hard time party was held on April 29th at the old Two Rivers school entertaining the high school and 7th and Sth grade students. Our class is looking forward to their Soph omore year at Columbia High School next fall,
