Prewitt For the first time in the history of this District, the seventh and eighth grades of Wallula, Burbank and Two Rivers are housed in the Columbia High School building. At the be- ginning of the year there were L4 pupils enrol ed. The Eigth Grade initiated the Seventh Grade at the be- ginning of the first term. Our entertainments consisted of the Eighth Grade giving the Seventh Grade a Valentines'Party and the Seventh Grade entertaining the Eighth Grade with an Easter Party. at which everyone had an enjoyable time. 'Those elected to the Pep Squad were: Wilma Elshire, Pat Ross, and Barbara Willard. Minnie McCarty replaced Pat Ross later in the year. These girls have worked diligently learn ing to lead yells and have had good support from their class mates. They are members of the High School Pep Squad. In Basket ball this year, high point nan was Bud Banta with Orville Curby coming in second. we were invited to the Blue Mountain Tournament where we lost to St. Patricks. Our boys have earned letters and are quite proud of their record in competitive sports. . The Seventh and Eighth Grades have enjoyed their year in the high school building. We appreciate the invitations to participate in Student Body and Girls' Federation Activ- ities. Although we have our own organized group, it has been helpful and beneficial to us to be a part of a 'larger student organization. p T
