They came from behind, in two critical games, to beat Irondale and Anoka. Hites Pucksteers had an overall record of 10 wins and 10 losses. They had a conference record of 7 wins and 6 losses. In the North Surburban Play-offs, Hites lost to Anoka 6-1. Next year's team will have 11 returning letter- men. The team looks optimistic. Junior Varsity had a great season. They had an overall record of 13 wins, 3 losses, and 2 ties. Les Leiviska and Rob Blanc led the team to 8 shut-outs. The Junior Varsity also had many exciting games. One of these was the win over Mounds View. Putting in hundreds of hours of practice during their 19 week long season was one of the ways the girls showed their dedication to the game. Giving 10 when on the court, earned the girls many victo- ries during conference play. The team will be set- ting high goals for next season with four junior starters returning.
