Hites Spirit Revealed The cheerleaders will now lead the Battle- Cry . A buzz fills the gym. Each class is deter- mined to win the spirit stick. V-I-C-T-O-R-Y! CThe Sophs are two beats ahead of the cheerleadersy. The Juniors and Seniors have a close contest. We'll do it again for the Sophs . This time the Sophomores aren't sure when to start, so they are out from the start. The Juniors give their best shot, but the Seniors come out on top once again. The spirit stick is a climax to a half hour pepfest honoring our teams and promoting school spirit. The band opens the pepfest as students enter the gym. Mr. Breisch then takes the mike. Thank you, band. That was just SUPER! The varsity and B-squad cheerleaders do some of their best cheers to get things rolling. Mr. Breisch introduces the teams and their coach at which time we're given a quick run-down of the season. It seems Hite's teams are suddenly shy at pep- fests. There's a breeze through the gym during the split second it takes a team to stand and acknowledge their applause. The pepfest comes to an end with the student body joining the band for Roll-On and sending the teams on their way to more Hites victories! l - 1 '-x l x
