Are you concerned about your physical condition? If you answered yes to either of these ques- tions, Physical Education has something to offer to you. This year, a great variety of classes were offered. Among them were such action- packed courses as soccer, tennis, basket- ball, and scuba. Many fun times were had in these phy. ed. courses, as well as a devel- oped skill and a learning within the particular area studied. At Columbia Heights Senior High, three quarters of physical education are required in a student's Sophomore year. The other quarter is spent studying various health-re- lated topics. A course in CPR is given and at a successful completion of this course, each student is awarded with a card stating that they are certified in the administration of CPR. To complete the study of the mental health unit, selected students from each class were allowed to attend a field trip to Cambridge State Hospital. -v-wa. ,, lVlr.
