It was formed for the purpose of providing music for various dances around school and outside of school. Many hours of hard work for the members and Mr. Wilke have smoothed out rough spots and produced a dance band we all can be proud of. The high school choir of 84 voices is one of the out- standing organizations ot Columbia Heights. For the past five years the choir has received an A rating in the state and district music contests. Among the appearances which the choir has made during the year are concerts at the Walker Art Center, the Radisson Hotel, Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church, a convocation at Augsburg College, and exchange con- certs with St. Louis Park, Canby, and Johnson high schools. The choir has appeared over KSTP-TV and WCCO-TV, and a delayed broadcast of the Radisson Hotel concert was presented over WDGY Christmas Eve. In addition, the choir each year presents a community Christmas concert and a spring concert. The Hylandaires, an inner choir of 25 voices, have appeared at Messiah Church, Mt.
