The class of 1967 of Coltunbia Grammar School has had the privi- lege of being taught by many hard- working and concerned instructors. There is, however, more to teach- ing than conveying book knowl- edge in a classroomg and the sen- ior class has learned more from these two men than subject matter. In class and out, these men have treat- ed us like adults-their equals. We discovered quickly, however, that we were neither.We grasped for knowl- edge on all levels, and they eager- ly answered all our questions from skiing to family counseling. The place of learning was unimportant- classroom, library, cafeteria, park- They spoke after great thought and were frank in their discourse. They shocked us from our naive thinking and guided us toward sensibility and awareness. The more we learned from them, the more appreciative we became of their quality and uniqueness. The sense of humor to ask for Aristotle's rules of comedy, the strength of con- viction to cancel a term paper, the courage to admit error and the quest for knowledge are only a few ex- amples of their superior character- istics. These men gave unstintingly of themselves. To acknowledge our appreciation, the Class of 1967 of Columbia Grammar School dedi- Cates the Columbiana 1967 to Mr. Robert C. Parker and Mr. Perry A. Willimns.
