YVith the expert coaching of Mr. Kennedy and Mr. Birns, the club held several practice debates on various topics Ce.g. GOP Foreign Policy, Capital Punishmentl. A few weeks later, a debate was held in the school against Brooklxn Tllmudical fVVe lostl In '1 re turn match the Club defeated Talmudical on its home ground. A debate on 'Rock N' Roll, in the assembly was well received by the students and many more on similar topics are planned. Because of the good reception which the students gave to the club, it has been decided to carry it on in the following vears.
