He clenched his fist. He wanted to fight, to knock this gink downg but the boy was twice his size. The cigarette was thrust under his nose. 'Take it I Vic took it, knowing not what to do. Leander tugged at his hand. uYou going to smoke it, Vic?,' he whispered. Here's a lightf' the husky intruder said, and to his friends beyondg uWatch him choke. Heis a soft tr ing to be hard! Y Y All of Fhe color had drained from Vic's face, but his eyes were like white-hot steel. Hb puffed the cigarette with an experienced air. The boy before him did not seem so satisfied with himself.
