Her ar- tistic talents have been developed to such an extent, that no other artist's drawings are good enough to go in the Annual for lack of per- spective, etc. Skinny, though Skinny, does not live on love, pickles and crackers, with an occasional change to peanut butter, served to make 'her an Athenian athlete. She is one of the best hearted girls in school and her motto is, make others happy. COLUMBIA, S. C. Heart on her lip, and soul within her eye. Entered, '06. If you wish to have your fortune told, go to the witch, Laura Haltivvangerg she deserves the name, for she is bewitching in more than one sense of the word. She reminds one of Cleopa- tra, is just such a dark, imperious beauty. They say she has to study awfully hard to keep from flun.king, but We are afraid to say we believe that. Originality plays a prominent part in her character. We love to hear her speak up and spress herself. 42
