The spirit of brotherhood is developed in this organization. reaching out after higher ideals and deeper spiritual experiences. The Y. ll. C. A. does not interfere with the work of the churches, but is the means ot develop- ing and furnishing some of their best workers. The object of the association is to promote Chris- tian growth: to help suppress error and overthrow vice: to bring the lost to Christ and engage all in service for Him. This aim is accomplished through training in personal work, systematic llible and mis- C 56 J .....ll. C. B12NN13'1 r ......l3.A.GUv sion study, and the heart messages brought to us by earnest speakers. Each year delegates are sent to the Southern Students' Conference. These men come back with better plans and greater enthusiasm to make the work go. The regular weekly meeting is held on Thursday evening in the Y. M. C. A. Hall, and the best speakers available address the band. A Twilight Service ends each day's work and strengthens the general moral tone of the student body. These services add much to the spiritual life.
