COMMERCIAL CLUB lllattn: High-Higl1ur-Hn:ni:s'1'. Class CoIm's.' Old Gold and Purple. I HE Commercial Club of Columbia College is made up of strictly business students-those who are preparing to work, not loaf. The elub was organized in 12113 and is now a per- manent feature of our College life. Meetings are held hi-monthly. which are always interesting and profit- able. Usually these meetings are in the form of zz pienie. From the great interest shown by all members. it is reasonable to predict that the Columbia Commer- eial Club will gain in strength from year to year. 'l'he purpose of the elub is to promote interest in the business world among our members. XYC attribute much of our sueeess as a elub to the untiring interest shown in our work and the constant aid given us by the Dean of our department, Professor Haddock. 4503 FOOLISHNESS. In our class there is it Dear old Gunn, but now and then it will go off down the Holloway at our little Yankee Mark, but always misses our Hart. XYhile we were walking along the River-s bank we were entangled in a Cobb-XVebb, but went on fishing for Haddoeks. XYe have two very mysterious XX'rays in our class. Professor Haddock seems to have made a hit with one of the ladies of the Faculty: the next time we saw him his goatee had mysteriously disappeared. XYhy should we worry? Ish ka bibble! XYhat's the use of chocolate candy when Miss Stephens is around? XVe feel sure that Miss Simpson will make a line helpmeet, but not for any Simp.
