These goals were reached through close co-op- eration between the staff members. the advisor, and the school administration. Last year's two-staff organi- zation proved satisfactory and the practice was continued. Dick Armstrong was the head of thc business staff. and Marg Jenkinson served as editor of the 1952 issue. Paul Rice. Kenneth Link. Jon Hildebrand, Richard Jumont Richard Smith, Jim Schang, and Max Murphy, were selected. and the round-robin basket ball schedule started immediately. Three games were played on each MO11day and Tuesday night throughout the reg ular four-month basketball season. At UIC close of the season, the annual double-elimi nation tournament was held, with thc champions and runners-up receiving special awards. The senior showing the best atti- tude and sportsmanship throughout the season and tournament was awarded a sportsmanship trophy at the Honor Convocation on May 23.
