COLUMBIA BIBLE COLLEGE COLUMBIA GRADUATE SCHOOL OF BIBLE AND MISSIONS 1984 FINIAL High above the sidewalks of Hampton Street in Columbia, crowning each of the twin towers of the old campus, were the bud-like finials. It was these finials, as the crowning adornment of the building, that inspired the name for the yearbook of C. B. C. VOLUME 45 THE COVER The trumpets that God ordered Moses to amake were fashioned from pure hand- beaten silver. They were nearly three feet long, composed of a narrow tube that was flared slightly at one end to catch the breath, while the other end was flared like a bell. Their purpose was to announce the beginning of an event to the congregation (Numbers 10:2-10). On this our 60th year, we would announce to all, God ' s continued blessing to us. Pray for those that are sent out into the harvest, so that when the Lord comes again, with a shout and the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, they will be found as a worker that need not be ashamed.
