I would like to express my gratitude to: My assistant editor, Lisa (above), for her hand in every page. Bev Shepperson Editor THE FINIAL The Finial is a small slice of history which has been set between two covers as a pre- servative. 1964 Finial The theme of the 1984 Finial has been centered around the year verse: Hitherto hath the Lord helped us. . .Thy faithful- ness is unto all genera- tions. Information and photographs from the past have been scattered among the recording of the present. Testimonies to God ' s faithfulness from faculty, staff, and students presently at C. B. C. have also been interspersed among the pictures. As the silver trumpets on the cov- er herald the 60th anniver- sary of C. B. C. we can unitedly thank the Lord for helping us thus far, and praise Him for His faithful- ness to us. The Lord continues to draw men and women from around the globe and from ■ various occupations and professions to study at the Columbia Graduate School of Bible and Missions. We fully expect God to fulfill His promise by . . .rewarding those who are seeking Him by faith . These are also exciting days for the Graduate School in that many are taking the initiative in blazing the trail for new ministries both here at the Graduate School and throughout Columbia. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is appar- ent in the lives of the faculty, staff, and students. In one voice we praise His name because, You are worthy, our Lord and God to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things, and by Your will they were created and have their being.
