Robertson McQuilkin. President Dear Class of ' 70: Why haven ' t you revolted? Uptight? Passive -dependent? Or just plain square? But you did revolt. You revolted against the establishment. Maybe before you came. Maybe after you got here .... You revolted -- or you would hardly be here today. The in thing is to sign a life contract with the ruling author- ities of this v7orld, to settle for the establishment ' s value system. But you broke free . I suppose that ' s why you chose C.BoCo, training center for revolutionary activity. Oh, it hasn ' t been exactly a guerrilla camp. But it hasn ' t been all fun and frolic either. It ' s been . . .well . . . it ' s been great. You ' ve been great 1 And I don ' t think you ' re going to flame out at 35. I salute the Class of 1970 -- God ' s revolutionaries in an age bound up tight by the Enemy. Yours to set men truly free -- in Christ, ,lCJ -aW Board Of Trustees Standing Mr. R. In fact, you may be so unknown That no one knows your name; The oscars and the praise of men May never come your way, But don ' t forget God has rewards That He ' ll hand out someday. This Hall of Fame is only good As long as time shall be: But keep in mind. God ' s Hall of Fame Is for eternity; To have your name inscribed up there Is greater more by far Than all the fame and all the praise Of ev ' rv man-made star. This crowd on earth they soon forget When you ' re not at the top. They ' ll cheer like mad until you fall And then their praise will stop; Not God, He never does forget, A nd in His Hall of Fame. By just believing on His Son. Forever — there ' s your name. I tell you, friend, I wouldn ' t trade My name, however small. That ' s written there beyond the stars In that celestial Hall. For all the famous names on earth. Or glory that they share; I ' d rather be an unknown here, And have my name up there. — Wall Huntley (Used by permission) 99 •69 alumni return for homecoming on Thanksgiving Day Alumni Alumni Association officers: Rhett Sanders — Executive Secretary.
