' LEARN OF ME ft In presenting the 1961 Finial, it is the earnest desire of the Junior class that, as God ' s great work this year is portrayed in its pages, all who read it may, as never before, learn of the Lord Jesus. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Matthew 11:28,29. Learn of My Love that is changeless amid change. Learn of My Faithfulness, my Thanksgiving Goal faithfulness. Learn of My Strength to move souls as well as earth. Learn of My Wisdom, that obeys without understanding. Learn of My Grace, that makes a desk a place not of confinement, but of communion. DEDICATION What is the meaning of true greatness? Is it one ' s being in a place where all will see and praise, where all will recognize and honor? Not so shall it be among you: but whosoever would become great among you shall be your minister; and whosoever would be first among you shall be your servant: even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. (Matt. 20:26-28, A.S.V.) Miss Dowdle and Miss Wolf have long been our ministers here at C.B.C., and it is with joy that we dedicate this yearbook to them. This year of our move to the new campus has been one of the great impossibilities for them, perhaps as much as for anyone. Yet, laboring under crowded conditions, with an unusual number of students to feed, they have faithfully and fully provided for that need which, if not met, would cause Columbia Bible College to close its doors. For all that you have done and for all that you will do in the future, dear friends, we take this opportunity to say ' thank you. '
