McQuilkin today tomorrow BIBLE ' SI COLLEGE VISITORS WELCOME FROM T H E R God is building a building. We at Columbia Bible College are part of that great work. We desire and have earnestly prayed that the student life of Columbia Bible College as seen in this book may be used by God to show forth the Master Builder— our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. TO KNOW HIM AND ALMA MATER T MAKE H I M KNOWN ' Columbia, Alma Mater, thy name we would adorn, With filial devotion, of veneration born. In land of golden jasmine, and fair magnolia white, Thy tow ' rs are pointing upward toward God and Heaven and Light. ' Of rare and costly marble thy walls were never reared; But sons and daughters noble, to whom His grace appeared, Have ever been thy bulwarks, thy rare adornment too, Columbia Bible College, our Alma Mater true! The vision thou hast given of truth and human need, Inspires us all to service, to sow the precious seed. May we in consecration to Jesus Christ alone, Fulfil thy sacred purpose: TO KNOW AND MAKE HIM KNOWN. For nineteen years our Mr. Sells has been a faithful craftsman, laying the vital foundation of the Word of God in the lives of hundreds of students. For his work of faith in God, For his labour of love towards us, For his fruitful ministry in the Word, we are grateful. To Mr. Frank Sells we dedicate the FINIAL of 1956. m C LA ' - R M : M.. ,. 4. - 4 16 4--4i CL 7JET ste. 1 ■1 1 £■1 ISisi cc i d fc ia ftk S 3 ' ?V .i ' -i : A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT Dear Seniors: y There are three glorious titles in God ' s Word which are conferred upon you as you go forth in His service: Ambassadors, Priests, Fellow-workers. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be always your sufficiency as His Am- bassadors, making His strength perfect in your weakness. May the love of God be shed abroad in your hearts as His Priests, causing you to bear gently with the ignorant and the erring. May the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be your constant experience as His Fellow- workers, enduing you with power to be witnesses unto the uttermost part of the earth.
