W ' r I nfl! nf l R Dedication P. A. WRIGHT In recognition of his many years of teaching and being superintendent of various high schools in the state of Wash- ington, we of the NECONIA STAFF with much respect and gratitude dedicate this 1958 yearbook to the honored school of- ficial, Mr. P. A. Wright. We are glad to acknowledge in a small way the many hours of work and the fine results of that work, which he has so willingly and generously contributed to student activi- ties and school functions. Rounding out over a half century of association with high schools, he has received many honors and has belonged to many organizations. He is now a member of the Phi Selta Kappa, an hon- orary organization for teachers. In 1956 Richland High School made Mr. Wright very proud when they named their teachers' club the P. A. Wright Future 1 K ig idx? let lat P 52' 5 Teachers of America. He was superin- tendent of schools in Linden for eight years, in Prosser for seven years, in Richland for five years, and in Sno- homish for twenty-four years. He taught school for three years in Wis- consin and for two more years after coming to Washington before he received his first superintendent appointment. Born in Fall River, Wisconsin in 1884, Mr. Wright attended Lawrence College in Appleton, Wisconsin and later took work at Washington University. He re- tired in 1952, but came back to teaching at CBC in 1955.
