Last suiuiiier, another tint occurred at Col ton High School i Mr. Rollin Grider. former principal ot RIooniington Junior High, was appointed principal ot his Alma Mater. In accepting this position, he has set many goals for himself w ) c 7 he has explained to teachers in a special meeting, and to parents and students through community and campus publications. An alumnus of our school, his background as a continuing member ot the C.H.y spirit is unbeatable. Graduating in I9?S after being active in football and other activities, he attended the Unnersily of Redlands for his B.A. He returned to C.H.S. to become a cadet teacher, and after receiving his masters degree in 1966. again returned, this time as a teacher of History. Government. Geography, and coaching the football and golf teams. He later became vice- principal for a five-year period. Now. as principal. Mr. Grider has already made many improvements to our school. We. the students, faculty and staff, welcome Mr. Grider and his new ideas to Colton High School.
