s On their way to another victory, the Varsity football team prepares for tfie opening kick- off. You see them every day: the same two colors. In the uniforms of the athletes, the cheerleaders, the band, and even the spectators. Yet to any student they mean much more than just red and yellow. It ' s something that says I ' m from Colton High! explained one student. Like Yogi Yellow Jacket the colors crimson and gold give the school an identity. They set it apart from all the others. Without our colors there ' d be no sparkle — no pride, expressed a senior. We ' d be just like any other school. Cheerleader Janelle Jimenez and Song- leaders Paula Webb, Kim Perry, and Lisa Bab- bitt present tfieir opinion to spectators. Crimson Gold 3
