We, as have proceeding classes, found that he is in- deed an able administrator. For many of the thirty years during which he has been principal he has also served in the capacities of teacher, coach, and guidance counselor. Each of us in count- less ways has been aided by having known him as a person, a teacher, and a friend. Therefore, we, the Class of 1967, with gratitude and respect, dedicate our Cottonian to our supervising principal, Mr. Michael H. Corbitt. ADMINISTRATION COLTON-PIERREPONT BOARD OF EDUCATION R. Weegar, R. Thomas, J. Hayes, R. Creighton, M. Clohosey. Living and learning for all students is made possible at Colton-Pierrepont Central School through the en- deavors of the Board of Education. This elected group of officials plans, supervises, and administers our edu- cational program. Mr. Richard Weegar, as President, heads this staff of five. Colton can be proud of the quality of leadership it is now receiving. J. Lenney--Tax Collector J. O' Gorman--Treasurer 6 After thirteen years of work and pleasure here In this school you have finally reached the first plateau In your life. Whatever mea- sure of success you have attained has been brought about through the cooperation of your teachers, your parents, the taxpayers of your school district, the state and federal governments and finally you yourselves. As John Donne once said, No man is an island, entire of itself . This same cooperation will be necessary all through your life. Your success will depend upon your ability to get along with others, your willingness to do your share, even if called upon to protect your country, to hold public office or to sacrifice personal desires in order to help bear the burdens of the day. I sincerely hope that the training and guidance which you have re- ceived in this school will give you the stamina to carry out with pride your mission in life, whatever it may be. May God go with you. Vv.'- Mrs. Smith Normal School Mrs. Ells Normal School Mrs. Corcoran Training Class Mrs. Sullivan B. S. Mrs. McEwen Normal School ELEMENTARY FACULTY Mrs. McCarthy B. S.
