Senior Class Prophecy The infirmary of Chalet '63 seems to be bustling with activity this season. The nurses, Alice Buckley, Elva Clark, Colleen Houston, and Lorraine Dunning are being initiated to the Angels on Skis Patrol by nurse Judith Tucker, Olympic gold medal winner in the downhill. Since the fame of this winter paradise has increased, so also has the number of adventuresome novice skiers. Due to the many mishaps of our guests, our own ski patrol fills most of the infirmary themselves. Therefore, our brave nurses have volunteered to fill in for the bedridden patrol. Chalet '63, built as a monument to the metropolis of Colton, is located high in the peaks of the snowy Adirondack Mountains. It was erected by the William Ford Construc- tion Company, designed by the prominent architect Craig Perkins, engineered by the renowned Ronald Morrow, and landscaped by the man who did Queen Elizabeth's gar- dens, Kermit Weston. The excellent condition of our ski chair lifts and bus line's is due to the meticulous control of the mechanics crew as executed by Robert Dunning. All our guests keep up their good appearances by visiting the salons of our Paris- educated beauticians, Sharon McMurtry and Gloria Gleason. The masculine vanities are soothed by the capable and careful hands of barber Roger Murray. A world shaking ping-pong tournament is being overseen by frazzled recreation directors, Ellen Hepburn and James Cayey. Among the contestants who started this game to soothe their nerves, but now find themselves taking tranquilizers to overcome the effects of their soothed nerves, are Harvard English professor, Sandra Remington and Botany 499 model, Lowell Gotham. In a nearby corner, chesspert John L. Dollin- ger quietly and deftly cops the world Chessman's Association Championship. Speaking over his own patented two-way radio, which can be concealed in a hair pin or a tie clip, we discover communications administrator John Watson, conversing with naturalist Laura Selleck. Miss Selleck is accompanying an expedition on conser- vation experts to the top of Mount Colton for the purpose of tagging wild cats and bears. Chalet ’63 has been slated as the location for a highly secretive meeting of top military executives. We catch a glimpse of the guest of honor, General L. Clark, who, having recently returned from an extended mission in Cuba, is accompanied by his cap- able translator, Eileen Miller and personal secretary, Marlyne Bullock. Even as the slopes of Mount Colton fade into the dreams of tomorrow, even now do the actors set the stage for this performance. Best of success to you all!!! 26
