THE CLASS OF 1959 danced through the evening, with her Prince Vernon Weston! And the gym was bright with streamers of scarlet and rose and white, and gold thrones on a raised dais! It was the Love- liest Night of the Year ---- for that was the theme of the Prom! Now, the pictures are ending, for fall of 1958 brought twenty seniors back to school: Mary Lou was with us again, and Sharon Martin, but Francis Jones went on to join the Marines and Bonnie La Lone had become Bonnie La Lone Thomas, and had finished four years of study in the summer of '58! One thing didn't change though--we had the same Student Council members, officers, and the same advisor! Those pictures--oh, there's the magazine sale, over a thousand dollars worth sold, an- other recordg and the raffle of the doll, those basketball games, food sales, ice cream, cake raffles, and who can forget the Senior Play, with the only 17 year old grandmother in school! Oh, yes, that was Scottin' Grandma! And Carol Murray was our school's cham- pion in oratory! That last picture? That's New York--four wonderful, hectic days at Easter time--Radio City, Fifth Avenue, the Statue of Liberty! ------ And home again, for one last picture ----- Graduation! And farewells, to each other, to our advisor, to our school! You've seen them all now--pictures of four years, of all the fun and all of the activities of all 20 of us--the Seniors of 1959! Farewell--and keep these memories of us since they have been prepared for you by our class historian, YZMUWZ k
