But, tell me did you hear if Mr. Caruso finally did get his home grown team? , chuckled Grand- pa. Yes, that's the one that I am talking about , replied Whiskers. Well, it seems to me that they are all pretty important people. What happened to Pat Regan? She wa3 always one of my favorites . Why, Grandpa, you must have heard about her. She wrote the best seller, SLIPALONG FLANNIGAN IN THE GRAVEL PIT. She came with Virginia Moore, who has traveled extensively and done much research for Pat's books. Norva Beckstead accom- panied them. Norva is Pat's and Virginia's secretary”, ex- plained Squeaky. There were some peachy illustrations in the book done by Tootie Sanford, who has made quite a name for herself in the field of commercial art , said Whiskers. That brings us around to Julia Leary, last but not defi- nitely not least. She is the head nurse at THE PERMANENT REST SANITARIUM; Having troubles?
