For the first time a mixed chorus was organized under the direction of our music instructor, Mr. Stark. There was a membership of 45 students. The officers were: Predisent, Janice Gotham; Vice-Pres- ident, Paul Sanford; Secretary and Treasurer, Harold Perkins; and Librarians, Margaret McCarthy and Florence McCarthy. The chorus practiced four part harmony and Paul Sanford acted as accompanist. They participated in two concerts and the graduation exercises.

I NEWSPAPER STAFF As usual, in the fall, elections were held to elect a staff to carry out the work of publishing the school paper, the Racquetteer. The paper was published twice a month, distributed among the rural schools, and exchanged with neighboring schools. The staff was ex- pertly directed by Mrs. Roland and Mrs. Roy Saucier.
