George Inouye. WA-1 AW G fain 'G-7 g vvawuf 'R S -Nxt HIt's a Woman's Worldn all right, but I'm one woman who couldn't have seen my way through this year without the Hman in my lifen at,CWC--Mr. C. He's the greatest! The work on the 1955 Skyline began last spring after the staff positions were announced. Our biggest task was the selection of a theme--and we had many ideas before our nWoman's Worldn was evolved. It all happened one day last October in a drug store. We were drinking coffee and listening to the juke box, and trying to think of a theme. fSounds easy, but it's noty. You'll never guess what was up next on the juke box--we all looked at each other, and Uwell, why not?U Next we selected the design for the cover and went to work. We planned our layouts and began taking pictures right after Christmas. Putting the feature section first gave a new lead into the book. We have tried to put into this section as many pictures as possible, and to include especially those that will bring back memories years from now, as Kangaroo Kourt and CWC's famous football eleven. 'In every way possible we have tried to show that uIt's a Woman's World.H There were a couple of times when I wondered if we would make it, but we had nearly everything to the printers by spring vacation. Reading and checking proofs was next on the agenda, and now, after giving you your book, our part is done. We hope you enjoy the 1955 Skyline as much as we have enjoyed editing it. It was lots of work, and even more fun. E I want to give special thanks to the following for their co-operation and assistance. The entire staff of the A. B. Hirschfeld Press, Pete Smythe and his ngeneral storen and KOA-TV who selected our Freshman and Senior Beauty Queens, Paul's Studiog Mr. Harry Smithg Mr. Les Kittleg Mr. C.g the Skyline Staff, and the faculty and student body of CWC. Thanks so much, everyone. Hope you like it! 4 f X ,,,. ..- ..- xo. - . 1 c ' ' -fliyffi -W.:-.nw-r.v. -. ., in-:,g,,w J ve. ,.- .,. .. ,., QM f rx-,5 ,A,,'.u-.
