Advlser Governmental problems of Foote Hall are brought before the House Board, consisting of the president of the dormitory and four wing chcrirmen,,once a week. Duties of this council are to sit as a fury on questions which may arise, and to formulate and enforce rules to insure cooperation among the residents of the. hall. ln addition to its regular offices, this year the group sponsored fraternity parties and .planned entertain- ment for students remaining on campus during vacations. ,During the last semester, -it inaugurated a new system of permissions to be required during study hours. V 7 ' 'L Purpose and duties of Treat Hall House Board are patterned after those of the council inoFoote Hallr 'lfhree voting members, the president of the -dormitory and two floor directors, make up the board, which holds its meetings monthly. r I ' Mid-year election was held to fill the vacancy' left by Edith Hook, president of Treat Hall. Huchingson honored the class at a beautifully appointed! fall tea in November. Rose and silver was the theme of the decorations. Those who assisted were Mesdames Earl Louthan, Alfred I. Wands, Edward A. Collier, and the Misses Verna Mae Eveleigh, Mary Elizabeth Mann, and Vivienne Smith. A musical program was planned by Mary Elizabeth Crowell. Florence Rogers V V The Class of '36 helped entertain the graduates by sponsoring the annual Homecoming Dance, March 20. Foote Dining Hall was decoratecliwith a multitude of pennants and a canopy ceiling of green and .white sheamers. i . ' E At Class Day on May 29, the Sophomores will present the traditional gift to the College as a culmination of their activities. 1 r Escorted by the Freshmen, the class will graduate in white caps and gowns, Iune 2.
