President Louis T. Benezet Colorado College is a place of almost unique variety and inter- est. As students, faculty, and administrators ' e seem to have come from all corners of the United States and even further. We bring to our campus a diversity of vie vpoints which makes this place a live, and sometimes hectic, college home. A college of such variegated dwellers is not easy to characterize. Many times I have heard it asked, What is our real College spirit? , as if to imply we may be lacking in this respect. On the contrary: when we look over the pages of a College year such as 1961-62 we find perhaps the best spirit of all for a college: a con- stant seeking in many directions for experiences and activities from which we learn something of the complexity of life itself. I hope the Class of 1962, reviewing the rich and animated life they have enjoyed at Colorado College, may feel a sense of pride and comradeship which will last throughout the years. . . . Louis T.
