DEDICATION: A college, some say, is a group of buildings . . stretches of green unheeded by a passing crowd ... an everlasting, unchanging part of an ordinary landscape. But is anything in life everlasting, unchanging? Change comes like the wind . . . sometimes swirling and drastic, with piles of dirt and new buildings emerging as if from nowhere . . . sometimes soft and unnoticed, as a thought, a suggestion, a long-forgotten bit of history enlightening a young mind.
