UAIVIPUS CHEST DRIVE fs Highlight of the Campus Chest Drive was the Auction- the offices of President for a Day, Dean of Men, and Dean of Women were sold for 590, 527, and S25 respectively. Approximately S1500 was collected in the Campus Chest Drive through contributions, the auction, and proceeds of the Variety Show. Shown above are Betty Troutman, acting Dean of Meng Miss Sallie Payne Morgan, Dean of Women, Buster Gorham, acting Dean of Womeng Ellie Graves, president for the dayg and Dr. Louis T. Benezet. THE ULD MAID AND THB THIEF A tragic-comedy by Menotti, The Old Maid and the Thief, was presented by the opera workshop in March. The cast shown above was directed by Mr. Warner of the music department and the production was staged by Mr. McMil1en of the drama department.

LAS VEGAS NIGHT The Independent Students Association pro- vided an evening of gambling, dancing, and dining for the student body at Las Vegas Night. The entire first floor of Slocum was converted into a Gambling Casino. A Floor Show featuring Jeanne Parks, The Bengals, and Wally Caldwell was held in the Night Club section with dancing supplied by Randy Lee and his Combo. Miss Pat Stonewater, Delta Gamma, was crowned Miss Lady Luck. Attendants were Ann Douglass, Alpha Phi, Laurie Campbell, Gamma Phi Betag Ruth Lind- quist, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and Rennie Powell, Kappa Alpha Theta. The deck was loaded! Couper Nelo'
