Otf PIKES PEAK NUGGET THE SCHOOL OF ARTS AND SCIENCES Prof. Gilmore EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE Dean C. B. Hershey, Chairman Professor R. J. Gilmore Professor Guy H. Albright The entire Faculty of the College will give instruction in the School of Arts and Sciences. The work of this school deals with the undergraduate in his first two years of college work. Satisfactory completion of the two years work in this school entitles the student to the degree of Associate in Arts. This school primarily serves two purposes. First it provides for the student who does not intend to pursue studies in the advanced schools of the College or in professional schools, and secondly it serves most effectively that larger number of students who expect to enter one of the advanced schools of the College or some technical or professional school of a university. A great deal of freedom is allowed the entering student in selecting his own course of study. m

7Je PIKES PEAK NUGGET Top Row — Hibbard, MacMillan, Anderson, Pomeroy. Bottom Roiv — Deutsch, Willis, Reid, Kelly, Pipkin, Gallagher, Coit. ASSOCIATED STUDENTS OF COLORADO COLLEGE The governing body of the Associated Students this year has introduced radical changes in the program to correct the present fallacies. Several amend- ments have been made to the A. S. C. C. constitution including the creation of a financial director, laws governing class elections, and the creation of a publications board. For the fourth year a delegate was sent to the conference of the National Student Federation of America. Marion Deutsch, a junior on the council, represented Colorado college at the convention held in Cleveland, Ohio, during Christmas vacation. The council has also considered the advisability of placing the student funds in the hands of a graduate manager. It has been the aim of the council this year to make the workings of the Associated Students more efficient and to control finances more closely. Roland Anderson ..Senior Man, Pres. A. S. C. C.
