MIDDLE SCHOOL PLAY THE THIRTEEN CLOCKS lVlr. Ben G. lVl. Priest, drama director at C. A., adapted James Thurber's The Thirteen Clocks, a spoof on fairy tales, for this year's Middle School Play. ln this tale the Handsome Prince was portrayed as a muscle-bound bumbler, and the Fair Maiden was characterized as a dumb blond. Two performances were giveng November 17 and 18. The cast was one of the largest ever and Nlr. Priest is to be congratulated for another job well done.

Price: Tenth Grade, J. Malo, S. lVlilIer, W. Lawrenceg Ninth Grade, G. Cannon, C. Saltsmanq Eighth Grade, D. Hulbert, J. Treeceg Seventh Grade, F. Cranmer, D. Milligan, Dormitory, G. McEwen, L. Newellg Advisor, Mr. Slevin. Under the leadership of Presi- dent Peter Stonington and Advisor Mr. Slevin, the 1967-68 Student Council was one of the most pro- ductive ones in recent years. The Council's achievements this year were many. A more efficient and workable Constitution was drawn up and ratified. The Council ran the annual ski bus on week- ends and sponsored a film festival with excellentfilms being shown every three weeks. This year's Student Council has hopefully set a precedent for more active Councils to follow.
