L1lJl11' 136111 Early in 1958 a new league was born. lt was initiated for the purpose of uniting the central high schools of the Albany area. Colonie Central, Columbia, Cuilderland, Bethlehem, Mohonason, Niskayuna and Shaker High com- pose the league. Last September saw the first active working of the council. Football and cross country were the first visible attempts. Baseball, basketball, Counei and tennis entered the sports calendar as the year progressed. Student councils and honor societies also meet to share ideas and procedures.
