Your junior and senior high school has set up certain goals which it tries to reach. Within the limits of his capacity, every student should: 1. Know the subject matter of the courses which he lshel studies. 2. Develop physical and mental health. 3. Speak and write satisfactorily. 4. Assume responsiblity in the home. 5. Be an intelligent consumer. 6. Know and understand the meaning of democ- racy and accept his duties of citizenship in the home, school, community, country, and world. 7. Learn to work out the everyday problems of living. 8. Use his leisure time well. 9. Develop the personal qualities and learn the skills which will help him to make a living. 10. Practice self-control and cooperation in his daily living. You can see that the school and home must co- operate in order to accomplish these results.
