Library Council Whenever you enter the library, you will see in different projects- many students engaged putting books on shelves, distributing passes, writ- ing late slips for books, taking care of reserved material, and serving at the desk. These helpers are the backbone of the library, willing to give their time and energy for the benefit of all the students in Colonie. Most important of all their contributions is releasing the librarians themselves from the ted- ious tasks so they can assist students in research, help teachers with class preparations, and make plans for the new additions to the library shelves.
